dc.description.abstractalt1	Higher educational establishments are faced with the task to prepare highly skilled personnel of future social workers. Important components of the professional competence of social workers are professionally important values and qualities that testify the relevance of this topic. The success of activity of a specialist in social work depends on the formation of his ability to regulate interpersonal relationships, to provide conditions for the development of personality and to establish interaction with the representatives of various social groups. By the definition of Ye. Kholostova, a social worker is a professional who realizes the real social policy of state power on the basis of social protection of different segments of the population. Professional social work is carried out in accordance with the ethical principles and values of society. An analysis of scientific works devoted to the personal qualities of a social worker makes it possible to highlight the qualities that a social worker needs for professional activity in a multinational environment, among which we distinguish the following: ethnic tolerance, communicative tolerance, openness, curiosity, altruism, justice, conscientiousness, responsiveness, respect for representatives of other nationalities, kindness, decency, humanity, patience, sincerity. The formation of the abovementioned professionally important qualities and values of future social workers is mostly shaped by studying at a higher education institution. Due to the tendency to reduce the number of curricular studies in higher education extracurricular independent work of students becomes of increasing importance. We propose such forms and methods of extracurricular work for future specialists in the social sphere, which, in our opinion, will contribute to the formation of professionally important qualities and values of future social work professionals: training school, volunteer associations, social projects agency, student club of intellectual cinema, student self-government, club of intelligent youth, debate club, art studio.	en_US
