dc.description.abstract The paper deals with the issue of teaching Business English to ex-combats and their family members. The authors outline the peculiarities of this group of learners. The challenges that teachers face in the targeted group are highlighted. The effective teaching strategies and classroom management techniques are suggested. The necessity of applying communicative, interactive methods and techniques of teaching and task based learning is proved. The importance to create favourable supportive learning environment where all learners can feel comfortable and perform to their maximum potential is emphasized en_US
