Requirements development for the system of controlling violations of a border crossing and automation of their fixation

Abstract

This work is intended to analyze and create detailed requirements for the system of controlling violations of a border crossing and automation of their fixation. The requirements describing techniques were chosen among different practices accordingly to the system peculiarity and stakeholders’ needs. The main method of their describing is the mix of user stories and use cases. Moreover, the diagrams and mockups were used to better describe some requirements. Also, the work contains the justification of why the chosen approach of requirements engineering was picked. In addition, the thesis contains theoretical information about the requirements development as a necessary concept of the software systems implementation, existing ways of their creation as well as the future of the requirements engineering. This work is ready to be taken in the development phase of the project and will be used for the implementation of the real software system. In the future, the implemented system might be extended, so the analysis of the new requirements will be needed. The current document will be very helpful for this purpose. The new requirements can be traced with the old ones to guarantee system integrity and completeness.
